Costco expands online DoorDash delivery to U.S.

Costco Wholesale Corp. continues offering customers new ways to place online delivery orders from local stores.

The wholesale retail giant is now available on the DoorDash marketplace across the U.S., following partnerships with the online delivery platform in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland and Puerto Rico. Costco members can order from an assortment f more than 4,000 products including groceries, pantry staples, household essentials, electronics, seasonal merchandise, and Kirkland Signature private label products from all the retailer's stores nationwide through DoorDash for same-day delivery.

How it works

Costco members in the U.S. can open the DoorDash app, search for Costco and select their local store. When prompted, they can link an active Costco membership and complete their order.

Consumers who are not yet Costco members can follow a link to Costco.com to purchase a membership, then return to DoorDash and link their new account. Costco had previously ranked among the most-searched U.S. retailers not yet available on DoorDash.
